The focus here is on developing camera technique and compositional skills. Prior to the day, Mark will carry out a thorough needs analysis to establish what your goals are and design a programme suitable for you. The day itself consists of up to 10 hours’ instruction. Usually your day will start with a dawn shoot, after which there will be a short break to talk through any relevant technical points and to review the shots taken so far. The rest of the day will be spent in the field, covering those aspects of landscape photography relevant to you. Locations can be decided either by discussion with Mark, or you can leave it entirely up to him. During the summer months, when the days are longer, there will either be a break during the middle of the day, or a later start, around lunchtime. Weather depending, the day will finish at dusk.
