Mark Bauer is one of the UK’s leading landscape photographers. Having first become interested in photography while living abroad in the early 1990s, he is best known for his evocative images of Dorset and other locations in the south west of England, although his work takes him to many other destinations.

As a professional photographer for over 15 years, he supplies images to stock agencies, corporate clients and magazines. He is a regular contributor to the UK photographic press and is the author of six books, including The Landscape Photography Workshop (with Ross Hoddinott).

Mark’s work has been Commended and Highly Commended in various major competitions, including The Landscape Photographer of the Year and the International Landscape Photographer of the Year. He has also been a category winner in the Outdoor Photographer of the Year.

Mark is also a highly experienced photography tutor and co-owns Dawn 2 Dusk Photography with Ross Hoddinott. He also works as a freelance tutor for others companies, leading workshops in many destinations around the world.
