Mark Bauer is an award-winning UK landscape photographer with over two decades of professional experience. He is particularly well known for his evocative landscape photography of Dorset and the south west of England, although his work regularly takes him to inspiring locations across the UK and overseas.

Mark’s interest in photography began in the early 1990s while teaching overseas, and has since developed into a full-time career as a professional landscape photographer. His images are supplied to stock agencies, corporate clients and magazines, and he is a regular contributor to the UK photographic press. He is also the author of eight books on landscape photography, including The Landscape Photography Workshop, co-written with Ross Hoddinott.

A highly respected figure in the photographic community, Mark is a multi-award winner. He has been a category winner in both the International Garden Photographer of the Year and Outdoor Photographer of the Year competitions, and his work has also been highly commended and commended in the Landscape Photographer of the Year and International Landscape Photographer of the Year awards.

In addition to his photographic work, Mark is a highly experienced photography tutor. He is the co-founder of Dawn 2 Dusk Photography, one of the UK’s most established photography workshop companies, leading landscape photography workshops in Dorset, across the UK and internationally. His workshops are known for their small group sizes, in-depth tuition and strong emphasis on fieldcraft and creative vision.
